About Joana

From my childhood, I had an innate awareness of something beyond…

….of something beyond comprehension, something that eluded explanation by anyone else.

I was raised in a Catholic family, and as I grew older, more questions arose, but none of them satisfied me. I felt in my heart that the church was not for me, but I always believed in God.

In my twenties, I was introduced to meditation, and I felt the need to prioritize my health and well-being. I quit smoking, became vegetarian, and started my healing journey. The more I healed myself, the stronger I felt the calling to heal others.

I was living in Portugal (my country) when I completed my Bachelor’s in Social Work, but I couldn’t find any job in that field. After a year of working in door-to-door sales, baking at home, fundraising, etc., I said to myself, ‘I am done with this.’

I decided to move to Ireland; something called me to come. It wasn’t easy at the beginning, but faith, hope and my husband support were strong. I always felt that everything would work out in the end, and it did. I found a job that gave me the opportunity to pay my bills and continue my healing journey. That’s when I encountered an amazing healer named Gerry Browne, and I am immensely grateful for his guidance. After a few sessions, I felt a strong calling to heal others. Since then, I have been extensively studying spirituality, practicing meditation, and reading books every single day. I feel a deep connection with Jesus and Archangel Michael, whom I believe guide me every day.

During this journey, I discovered Reiki, and a strong feeling came over me. I realized it was a sign that I needed to pursue it. When I finished Reiki, I was very happy and excited to start my own business. However, it didn’t work out as planned. God had other plans for me, which involved increasing my confidence (something I really needed).

So, I found work in a coffee shop, but I continued to share and conduct Reiki and meditation sessions. Later on, I found a job working with autistic children, and I loved it for many years. However, when I had my daughter, I felt a strong calling once again, urging me to continue my healing journey.

I feel a strong connection to the source, and I have further developed my intuition, clairvoyance, clairsentience, and claircognizance. These are great gifts that allow me to help others. I believe that we all possess gifts; we just need to connect with them.

With all the healing taking place, every time I meditated or connected with Jesus, I began to notice that he was calling me Joana, which is my first name, but no one ever called me by that name. Throughout my life, I have been called by my middle name, Rita. My mom always tells the story about my name. Initially, my parents intended to name me Rita or Ana Rita. However, when my mom was pregnant, the nurse who was assisting her would often place her hand on her belly and affectionately call me ‘little Joana’ or ‘Joaninha.’ As a result, I became Joana Rita, but everyone referred to me as Rita. Only a few months ago, I made the decision to embrace the name Joana, as it is the name Jesus and other spirits call me.

My journey as a spiritual healer and Reiki practitioner has been nothing short of miraculous. It has allowed me to tap into my own innate gifts, connect with others on a deep level, and make a meaningful difference in their lives. If you are on a path of self-discovery or seeking healing, I encourage you to explore the transformative power of spirituality and Reiki. Embrace the journey with an open heart, and you will unlock the profound potential within you to heal, grow, and thrive.

change your life by making incremental changes that can bring you long term benefits.
